How To Plant A Lemon In A Cup: Make Your Home Smell Fresh And Boost Your Mood
All you need to plant a lemon is to have an organic seed, seedling pot, planting pot, and fertile soil, sunny indoor space and plastic.
Now you are ready for planting.
- Step 1: Moisten the Soil
Before you plant a lemon make sure to mix a bit of water in your soil until it is damp to the touch but make sure you don’t overdo it.
- Step 2: Add Soil
Be careful to not overflow the pot with soil, make sure to leave one inch.
- Step 3: Choose Your Seed
It is not good for your seed to be dry so before you plant in your soil put the seed in your mouth.
- Step 4: Plant Your Seed
The seed needs to be planted ½ an inch below the surface.
- Step 5: Cover The Pot
Lemon seeds want warmth so put a plastic bag around them but don’t forget to water the soil to prevent dryness. If you feel that the seed has enough warmth without the plastic, take it out.
- Step 6: Seedlings Sprout
In two weeks time you will start to see your lemon tree grow. Make sure that the plant is always in a sunny and warm place.
Tips for Beginners:
You can have your lemon trees in your room but you need to follow these tips.
- Place outdoors
At a period of time the tree needs to be outdoors this will help the bees to pollinate the tree.
- Be aware of your location
They like to be in a warm place but not too warm.
- Maintain a proper temperature
Lemons do best in temperatures of 70 degrees F during the day and no lower than 55 degrees F during the night.
